This is the first generation Mazda Demio. The engine is a water cooled in-line four cylinder SOHC, displacing 1,323cc. The Mazda Demio is marketed overseas as the Mazda2. The first generation was built from 1996 to 2002. I have owned two Mazda Demios. The fist I used for touring New Zealand and the second is my current daily driver.
