The Mazda Sentia is a luxury sedan manufactured by Mazda Motor Corporation from 1991 to 1999. It is also known as the Mazda 929 in some markets. The Sentia was designed to compete with other high-end sedans such as the Toyota Cressida, Nissan Maxima, and Honda Legend.
The Sentia was offered with a range of engines, including a 2.5-liter V6, a 3.0-liter V6, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine. The transmission was available in either a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual.
The Sentia was known for its luxurious interior, with features such as leather upholstery, power windows and locks, and a premium sound system. The exterior had a stylish design with a sleek, aerodynamic body, and alloy wheels.
In 1996, Mazda introduced a facelifted version of the Sentia with revised styling, improved suspension, and safety features such as side airbags.
The Mazda Sentia was popular in Japan, Australia, and some Asian markets, but was never sold in Europe or North America. It was eventually replaced by the Mazda Millenia in some markets.
This is a first generation Mazda Sentia, with a water cooled V-type 6 cylinder DOHC engine, with a displacement of 2,494cc. 160PS at 6,000 rpm.
