1966 Mazda Luce

Marketed as a luxury car, the Mazda Luce was designed by the famed Italian automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and featured water cooled in-line four cylinder, 1,490cc SOHC engine.

1964 Mazda Familia

This is a first generation Mazda Familia, Mazda’s approach to the mid-sized semi-luxury market (at the time sedans were luxuries). My late mother, upon moving to Japan in 1984, bought a Mazda Familia, while my father bought a Mazda Bongo. The first generation Familia was equipped with a 782cc in-line four water cooled OHV engine.

1960 Mazda R360 Coupe

Production of the R360 Coupe started in 1960 and lasted for six years. The R360 had a rear mounted 356cc air cooled V-type 2 cylinder OHV engine. Speedwise, she topped out at 84 km/h (52 mph).

2023 Mazda CX-8

Introduced in 2017, the Mazda CX-8 is Mazda’s flagship SUV in Japan. It is Japan’s only three rowed midsized SUV.

2023 Mazda CX-5

2023 Mazda CX60

Newly introduced in 2022, the CX 60 is a sporty midsized SUV mainly marketed to the domestic market here in Japan.

2023 Mazda2

This automobile earned the Car of the Year award and the Japanese Car of the Year award. Marketed in Japan as the Mazda Demio. Yours truly has one in his garage.

1991 Mazda Sentia
